Elevating Expectations in Healthcare
Patient Stories:
Connor:
Caleb is awesome. I had multiple high-grade ligament tears in my ankle after a bad soccer injury - on top of years of chronic ankle sprains. After 6 months, I still couldn't run or or jump or do any sports activities, or even walk without discomfort. I was ready to schedule surgery for the ligament repair when I had a session with Caleb. A total of three sessions later, I'm running and jumping without pain and hardly thinking about my ankle. Surgery is cancelled. Caleb's a great professional and fun to treat with. He's also very efficient and not interested in wasting anyone's time. Next time I have a sports injury, he'll be my first call. Can't recommend him enough!
Sandi:
“I have been a patient of Caleb's and I have never met anyone who does what he does. He has a very professional but friendly manner and has corrected so much on my body. You will NEVER be sorry seeing this man. He is a God send. Thank you Caleb for all you have done for me.”
Judy:
This is an amazing physical therapist. With his advanced specialized training with fascia his diagnosis is thorough and exact. I walked in on crutches with a knee problem expecting him to tell me I needed surgery. After one hour I was walking without crutches. During two sessions he completely fixed my knee problem. He also worked on minor shoulder and back problems I’d had for years. I highly recommend Caleb.
Meet the Founder:
Caleb M Dotson, PT, DPT
My passion is, and always has been, empowering people to maximize their quality of life. In high school, I led and participated in numerous community-focused organizations. At Washington State University, I designed and taught an elective course that equipped students to put their best foot forward in their job search. At every turn, I find myself connecting with people and equipping them to identify and overcome obstacles. Naturally, this passion led to earning my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University.
Since earning my doctorate, I practiced in southern Oregon for two years and then in several clinics in the greater Spokane, Washington area. It was during this time that I observed how the current healthcare system can be a barrier to people’s health and wellness. So, in 2020, I decided to do something radically different; to provide a better solution than the traditional model and paradigms allow.
Own Your Health Physiotherapy is part of this solution. It allows me to work for my patients, not their insurance company. It allows me to connect people with the specialists they need, even if that means sending their business elsewhere. It also allows me to help people identify their goals and potential, empowering them to own their own health.
“Our bodies are a beautifully complex collection of interrelated systems and processes. To overlook or undervalue any of these is to risk not realizing our potential.”
